About the Kitchen
In our location in Schöneberg, we offer lunch and brunch dishes next to our bakery and pastry products. We only use the best ingredients and source organically and ideally regionally. Of course we also like to use the synergies between the different production sections we have. The lunch offering needs to be pragmatic, while the brunch offering is more elaborate and allows for more extravagance.
Your Role
Menu development: you own and develop the menu with the team. You will align with the two owners and the head of Front of House on the main directions and guidelines.
Team management: you are in charge of a 3 person team (incl. you) - with the potential to grow. You are responsible for the scheduling and the operational management of the team.
Ordering and Stock management: you are in charge of ordering, managing the stock and keeping an eye on the food cost.
Maintenance and daily operations: you will be the first point of contact for anything concerning the kitchen - and you should have an eye on how things are maintained and run.
Day Job: you work only during the day (no evenings)! The rotation within the team can allow at least 1 free weekend per month.
Growth: you can play a central role to develop the kitchen further with us. There are many new types of offerings that are possible and you can help us realize them.
Your Profile
You have several years of experience in higher-level gastronomy and (ideally also) in more fast-paced environments
Bonus: you have experience in lunch or brunch places
You have experience in managing a larger section or an entire kitchen
You are a team player and a good (pro-active) communicator
You speak English (and ideally German)
